Get to know your massage therapist and the salon
Nice to meet you, I’m Szandra.
My mission with Cocoa Massage Therapy is to create a comforting, peaceful enviroment for every client where they can escape from their busy life and receive their well deserved healing treatment.
I am Szandra, your massage therapist. I have a wide range of techniques including remedial, pregnancy, postnatal, sport and hot stone massage. I completed my medical and sport massage diploma in 2014 in Hungary.
After school I was working as a remedial therapist in the rehabilitation area of a Thermal Bath in Budapest.
After that I decided to go for a long adventure, traveling while working around the World. I had the chance to work, study and gain experience in Malta, New Zealand, Thailand and on international waters.
In 2019 Sydney became another type of adventure where I finally settled down and created my new home. I was part of the Motus Health and Performance physio clinic team for two years, before I decided to open my own business Cocoa Massage Therapy.
Why did I name my business Cocoa? I have had the chance to visit the Dominican Republic where I was able to taste the pure cocoa fruit.
I have always loved chocolate, and that was truly a memorable experience.
My journey from Hungary to Sydney has not only allowed me to build an international perspective on therapeutic practices but has also shaped me into a well-rounded and empathetic therapist.
Working in a rehabilitative area and also trying the spa culture definitely helped me to understand different perspectives how the body works and how everything is connected.
Treating the body is fundamental, additionally I believe that it is important to find a caring therapist who pays attention to your needs and mental health as well.
Combining relaxing hot stone therapy and remedial massage is my favourite thing as I believe the benefits of the heat should not be used only for relaxing massages.

The salon
The massage studio provides a professional and calming atmosphere. The focus was on cultivating a warm and comfortable enviroment where guests can enjoy their therapy session in a cozy and inviting setting.
